Buck Douglas, the famous "Alien Quest" TV show host visits Pontypandy and everyone in town searches for aliens.

Fireman Sam (Welsh: Sam Tân) is a Welsh animated children's television series about a fireman called Sam, his fellow firefighters, and other townspeople in the Welsh town of Pontypandy (a portmanteau of two real towns, Pontypridd and Tonypandy, which are situated approximately 5 miles apart in the South Wales valleys). The original idea for the show came from two ex-firemen from Kent. They took their idea to artist/writer Rob Lee who developed the concept for them. The finished concept was then presented to S4C who saw the potential in the series and commissioned it.

Fireman Sam In Action is a 1996 live-action stage play and a 62-minute film featuring three stories, Fire Station Flood Alert, Dilys’ Attic Fire and Pontypandy Fireworks Party. It was especially filmed for video, based on the Welsh stop-motion TV series, Fireman Sam.

“The Alien“ is a web-series about an alien being who accidentally lands in a local lake while on a mysterious mission to save the human race and our planet from disaster. A scientific experiment, the ITER project, soon to be conducted, will destroy the Earth and everyone on it . This creature can take the form of anyone he chooses and has powers of concentration far beyond a human. He has studied our culture for many years and believes the human race deserves to be saved. He interacts with some members of the community who are convinced they should help him achieve his mission, although some are suspicious of his real intentions.
